16 and 17 year old driver's with learner's permits cannot drive between midnight and 5am in Massachusetts.

If you have a learner's permit and are under 18, you may not drive between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is a validly licensed operator with at least one year of driving experience.
